I’m deeply concerned about humanity’s dysfunctional relationship with the planet. You likely are as well. Its life-sustaining systems are weakening rapidly under the mounting abuse it receives from us collectively. This trend will end badly all too soon, if our dominant way of thinking about ourselves and the planet persists.
Driven by this concern and the urge to do something about it, I’ve devoted my entire career to the pursuit of developing highly effective ways of engaging with others and encouraging them to adopt ecologically responsible behaviours.
In this pursuit, I haven’t been particularly concerned about what form my work took. As long as I was fulfilling my life’s work, I was happy.
As a consequence, over the years I have been a natural and cultural history interpreter, a free-lance journalist, environmental educator, author, radio talk show producer and host, television news reporter, video producer, post-secondary instructor, consultant, and many other roles. For a more complete picture of my background, please visit the “About” page and my LinkedIn profile.
EKOS Communications is a sole proprietorship created, owned and operated by me since the early 2000s. This website was originally conceived to market my services as well as those of a few associates.
Over the coming weeks, it will undergo an exciting transformation. It will become less about me and more about providing relevant and useful content for visitors, perhaps like yourself, looking for better ways to engage critical audiences and to encourage greater environmental protection and sustainability on their part.
