Here is my first blog post with a technical strain. I will be posting here periodically to update those interested in the technical progress of the site. Please comment to the post or send me a private message if you would like to see a certain thing done. If you can think it, it can probably happen.

Well, after investigating options it looks like PayPal's system of subscriptions is something we should leverage for our system. We will still allow payments by cheque, so if you don't like PayPal that would the method for you.
I will be getting down to implementing this in the next few days and you should see the results soon.
